This research is a library study (libarary research) using a descriptive analysis approach. This makes the writer interested in studying his thoughts about social education in Surat al-Na>s and how social education contained in Surat al-Na>s in the study of de Saussure's semiotics. Quraish Shihab is one of the commentators who often discusses the issue of education in the verses of the Qur'an in some of his works.
